The effective use of advanced research computing (ARC) hinges on the cultivation of highly qualified personnel (HQP) – individuals who are skilled in the utilization ARC resources. In order to maintain and expand this community of knowledge, Compute Canada and its regional partners offer a range of support and training opportunities and online resources for every type of user. Many of these training offerings are available at multiple sites nation-wide through the use of Compute Canada’s videoconferencing facilities. Many sessions are also available as web streams, and archived for later use.
