Compute Canada enables Canadian researchers to perform world-class research using Advanced Research Computing (ARC) strategies. The organization helps researchers who need ARC in all disciplines and at all scales; from individual researchers to some of the largest international research collaborations in the world.
Compute Canada serves disciplines as diverse as computational criminology, chemistry, aerospace engineering, medicine, and analysis of great works of fiction. This section is dedicated to this community.
In the research portal, you will find access to a full suite of our services and support including access to world-renowned expertise and support documentation.
On September 23, 2021 the Compute Canada Federation launched our annual Resource Allocation Competitions (RAC), a peer-reviewed process to grant priority access to storage and compute resources beyond what can be obtained via the Rapid Access Service.
The Resources for Research Groups (RRG) and the Research Platforms and Portals (RPP) competitions are open to Canadian research projects from all disciplines. Submissions to the RRG and RPP closed on November 4. Submissions are under review and results will be announced late March 2022. Implementation of RAC 2022 allocations will be completed early April 2022.
