User News: Security improvements on national clusters
On July 29, 2019, users received an email from the Compute Canada support team about the modification of the configuration of the SSH security protocol used to connect to our clusters.
SSH protects the information transmitted between the user and the cluster, and verifies the identity of both parties. To learn more about SSH, read: https://docs.computecanada.ca/wiki/SSH.
The new configuration will affect all users and action is required. For details on the upcoming changes, see: https://docs.computecanada.ca/wiki/SSH_security_improvements.
